Glow Worm Tunnel Walk

A spectacular 1km walk through a historic railway tunnel lit by thousands of glow worms in Wollemi National Park, near Lithgow. The tunnel was part of the former Newnes oil shale railway, built in the early 1900s and decommissioned in the 1940s. Today it offers one of the most magical natural experiences in the Blue Mountains region. Bring a torch and wear sturdy shoes.
