Jenolan Caves

The world's oldest known open caves, Jenolan is a place of extraordinary natural beauty and geological wonder. Located deep in the Blue Mountains wilderness, the cave system features over 40 kilometres of multi-level passages adorned with spectacular limestone formations - stalactites, stalagmites, underground rivers, and crystal-clear pools. Guided tours range from easy walks through the Lucas Cave to adventure caving through tight squeezes and underground rivers. Above ground, the heritage Caves House provides accommodation and dining.
